The upcoming version of the Android operating system is scheduled to debut at the company’s I/O 2017 developer conference in May. According to the reports from VentureBeat, the company is rumored to add some enhancements to the upcoming OS. The company will include some “Smart Feature” which is called Copy Less. Well, like its name states this feature is supposed to make it easier to copy text from one application to another. VentureBeat had demonstrated the feature in an example “As an example, if you and a friend are having a conversation in a chat about where to eat dinner and you find a good restaurant in the Yelp app, when you go back to your conversation and type ‘it’s at,’ one automatically generated suggestion in Gboard would be the restaurant’s address” Another feature that’s still in testing phase is turning places into Hyperlinks in SMS. Suppose, if anyone sent you his/her address in SMS then Android would recognize it and open the address in Google Maps. Android will even introduce new gesture feature in Android O. Google will now allow users to take advantages of gestures to trigger actions across Android. For example, if anyone wants to open the list of recent contacts, he/she can draw letter C on the screen. This is still not clear, that how much of these features ends up to be true. We have to wait for annual I/O conference that is about to held this year to know more about the upcoming Android version.
